Camera Love & Hit & Run Updates

A lot of exciting things have happened recently, but I've been so busy with work that I haven't gotten around to sharing all the fun news.  Anyway, here is some of the exciting things with our little family...

- Matt is finally finished with all of his GRE tests!  He had to take the Physics GRE twice which he studied for forever and then a week later he had to take the general GRE.  I'm happy to have my husband back and I'm especially happy that his stress level is way lower than it was for those months.

- I finally got my camera and I LOVE it!  I feel like I've already taken pictures of practically everything in our apartment, but I am loving my new little baby.  I've always been a wanna be photographer so now I really am haha.  I'm excited to learn more about it, but sadly I haven't had very much time yet.

- We completed our first race as a family and it was a huge HIT.  I know I already blogged about the Hit and Run 5K before we ran it, but I have to show the pictures from our run.  Matt's sister Steph and her family came to watch and it was really fun to have someone watching us.  Most of these pictures are from Steph, but I found a few online from the website that I just had to share too.  I would totally do this again in a heartbeat.

Team Calsworth... Caltons and Wadsworths.

The purpose of this obstacle was to bounce on these giant balls, but obviously Matt flopped haha

Running across the blowup dudes (before they both fell)

The giant foam obstacle.  I loved the foam :)

Me

Clayton hanging on for dear life.

Kort sliding to her death.

Trying to dodge the giant rotating balls while also trying not to fall in the freezing water.  We DEFINITELY fell in... a few times.

My hit from the swinging doors.  Definitely my favorite picture.  Look at the action! haha

The After Party

Matt's funny little run

Finished! (Nerdy pic... I know)
