Keeper Recipe of the Week

This week was the week I finally jumped back into cooking.  For a while now cooking has felt like such a drag and I'm realizing maybe it's because I wasn't really excited about anything I was making.  Anyway, this past week I spiced up our menu a little bit and have loved cooking again.  Good food really makes the heart happy I guess :)

Anyway, this past week I made this new recipe and loved it... twice!  I only planned it for one day, but we loved the breadsticks I made so much we made them again when we had our friends over for dinner yesterday.  As many of you already know, I am a huge fan of Mel's Kitchen Cafe because honestly... what's not to love?  Everything she makes is amazing.  Well, this recipe was no different.  The breadsticks really were pretty divine if I do say so myself.

PS- The first time I made them I used some white flour & some wheat flour and they were great.  The second time I used just white flour and they were great too so whatever floats your boat I guess.

Unfortunately that is not a picture of my breadsticks... those puppies belong to Mel but mine looked pretty good too :)

    1. Stacie! You haven't made these?! I make them almost every time we have spaghetti/lasagna/etc. They're delicious, and not that hard. Thanks for the inspiration, Becca, now I'm going to have to make them again.
