My little buddy is 7 months old now. He is quite the little stinker and I love him to death. So first things first. The boy finally likes tummy time!! I have been waiting and waiting for this moment. So many people told me that their baby screamed on their stomach until something clicked and they were fine. I was a little confused by how that could happen, but it totally did happen and boy am I happy! Now he plays sitting up, on his tummy, and on his back. It's pretty great. Oh and he rolled over! He's only gone from his back to his tummy... twice, but he can roll! Happy day!
The boy is still a great eater and hasn't turned down anything we've given him and now loves Greek Yogurt in addition to his normal baby food. I did attempt to give him the nasty little "chicken and chicken gravy" baby food, but after seeing him gag while trying to get it down I decided I couldn't do it. Even then he was a trooper... I'm the one that gave up because that stuff grosses me out. The smell alone is like dog food. Gross! I guess we'll just wait a little bit and give him our protein when he's ready for it.
Anyway, things have been great. Thomas is a happy little guy and he's my little buddy for everything. He can finally sit up in the front of the grocery cart so going on outing is a lot easier. AND... we just started doing mommy and baby yoga and exercises which I am loving! I know it's probably kinda hippy momish of me to like that, but it's been great. I love being able to get things done while I spend time with him... especially when he likes what we're doing.
Well, life is good for me and this little guy. We make a good team and I am so grateful that I have been blessed with such an incredible, loving baby. I love being his momma.
